Nigerian Youths Need Deliverance – Olukoya

Dr. Daniel Olukoya, General Overseer of the Mountain of Fire Miracles, MFM, has reportedly said the problem of Nigerian youths is beyond the physical, while viewing that strategic prayers coupled with encouragement would go a long way in making the youths maximise their potentials.

The Founder of Mountain Top University, thereby called on stakeholders and the Nigerian government to look in the way of the youths and give all the support.

Olukoya made the expression at the 50th convocation ceremony of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) where he was conferred the prestigious honorary doctorate degree alongside Mr. Jim Ovia, Founder, Zenith Bank Plc and Alhaja Lateefat Okunnu, former Nigeria’s Federal Commissioner for Works and Housing.

Dedicating the award to the youths, Olukoya said, “Today’s youths need deliverance and particularly encouragement to motivate them to greatness. I will also implore government to consider introducing a compulsory course of ‘Life After University’ in institutions to include, dignity, integrity, morality and hard work such that any students that failed the course should not be allowed to graduate.”

The clergy studied Microbiology in UNILAG and bagged a First Class Honours, making him to break the record in the department. He obtained PhD in Molecular Genetics from the University of Reading, United Kingdom.
